Confidence Quality Service Charter for Tourism Professionals in the City of Cannes


For a lasting reliability in tourists welcoming and at the initiative of the Town of Cannes, tourism professionals have committed to a Charter for Quality, Service and Transparency guaranteeing a high level of service at a fair price in hotels and restaurants in Cannes, as well as on the town's beaches and in its taxis. The Charter is designed to benefit local and visiting clienteles, in Cannes for business or pleasure.


A quality welcome for all clients is a requisite to which all signees of the Only Cannes Charter adhere. This translates into common policies - such as appropriate dress, a positive attitude, limited waiting time, individual attention for clients, and listening to their needs - as well as more specific concrete initiatives unique to the profession concerned and the product range on offer.
By adhering to the Only Cannes Charter, a professional becomes an ambassador for tourism in Cannes.
This new contract for quality and transparency unites the municipality (represented by SEMEC) and hotel, restaurant, beach and taxi professionals. By guaranteeing the best service at a fair price, it aims:


  • to spotlight Cannes as a European and world-wide benchmark in terms of both business and leisure tourism;

  • to win customer confidence by offering reliable, top-quality service from professional players;

  • to foster respect for the shared values upon which Cannes' long-term reputation depend;

  • - to enhance Cannes' image by improving the welcome the town extends and the services it provides, fashioning a winning destination on the international stage.

  • In 2006, some shopkeepers become members of the quality charter.
